Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This Bethel, OH basement once had a wet floor, an outdated sump pump, and a wall on the left side beginning to cave inward. After our team installed a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard subfloor drains in the coves, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and PowerBrace beams to stabilize the failing wall, the space turned dry, stable, and protected for the long term.

After encapsulating and insulating this crawl space, we installed the cherry on top, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Since being invented, it has been tested and tweaked over many years to have some of the best specs for a dehumidifier that does not have a clunky heat exchange core.

This poured foundation wall in this Vanceburg, KY basement was leaking due to hydrostatic pressure building up outside the wall. We repaired the crack using our FlexiSpan system. First, we cleaned and prepped the crack, chipping out any loose material if necessary. Next, we applied a flexible sealant directly into the crack to form the primary seal. Then, we placed a strip of flexible, open-cell foam over the sealant, followed by an impermeable membrane to permanently seal the repair. The bottom of this system is directed into the drainage system below the floor, ensuring that any future seepage is captured and drained away instead of entering the basement. We then added our BrightWall crack cover over the stained wall. The result was a clean, dry basement wall that the homeowner could confidently finish again.

This customer was interested in insulation and mold control. After we waterproofed the basement, we began to insulate by spraying foam on the band boards and installing Foamax insulation wall panels. The wall panels will help guide water to the system and they will never grow mold due to their inorganic nature. 

The owner of this basement had their previous waterproofers go out of business, so they needed someone who could help them out. The existing sump pump was most likely hooked up to footer drains on the outside of the home, which probably clogged with time. We told them about our interior drainage system, which was less of a nuisance to install than to repair their outside drains. They agreed that our process was easier, and so they agreed. We waterproofed this basement by installing our WaterGuard subfloor drains, our SuperSump sump pump, and our BrightWall wall panels. The result was a very happy homeowner who found a company they could trust for the long haul.
