This basement in West Chester, OH, had a failing exterior waterproofing system. The footer drains that were placed in the soil when the home was first built had clogged in spots, and the sump pump was struggling to properly manage the water. As we see with a lot of exterior waterproofing systems, the footer drains do a poor job at keeping soil out of the system, and when the soil reaches the sump pump, the sump pump fails to run efficiently, causing the sump pump to run when it shouldn't and quickly deteriorate. Both of these problems allowed water to enter throughout the coves in the basement and up through the sump pump itself. We replaced their existing system with our patented interior system including our WaterGuard subfloor drains and our SuperSump sump pump. Our interior drains sit directly on top of the footing and are installed from the inside, ensuring soil and dirt stays out of the system. The homeowner was happy with the upgrade.
This basement in Loveland, OH, leaked almost every time it rained. They had a clogged footer drain, and rather than have someone excavate around their entire foundation to install a new exterior system, (which would likely clog again) they decided to have us install our full interior perimeter solution. This homeowner wanted to move their teenager down into the basement, so they also wanted us to install a new egress window to allow for emergency exits, natural sunlight, and fresh air. We installed our WaterGuard subfloor drains around the entire perimeter, our TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace walls everywhere, and of course, a brand new egress window. The result of this project was a happy father and daughter, who get to look forward to working together on building her new room.

This house that we set out to waterproof was built in 1937 and had a block wall foundation. The relatively new owners of the home loved everything about the house, except for the fact that it leaked water every time it rained. In the before picture, you can actually see the damp spot on the floor closest to the wall. To waterproof it, we installed WaterGuard drains all around the interior perimeter of the basement, a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and BrightWall paneling to give the walls a nice clean look. The homeowners won't have to worry about musty smells everytime it rains anymore.
For this project in Batavia, OH, we waterproofed the entire perimeter from the inside. Our WaterGuard subfloor drains were designed to be installed from the interior, and they rest on top of the footing of the home. We insist on these drains because they sit outside of the "mud zone" where other drainage systems are bound to clog. We also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier all over the walls in the basement for a couple reasons. For one, they help keep moisture out of the home, and they help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drainage system. Secondly, they provide a finished look for homeowners who plan on spending a lot of time in the basement. If you want to learn more about this project, head to this link to see more photos:
This basement in Batavia, OH, had flooded three times in the past three years. The fed up homeowners decided to give us a call after the third strike to fix the problem once and for all. We installed a full perimeter system including our WaterGuard drains, our CleanSpace walls, and two of our TripleSafe sump pumps. You can see all three products used in the associated "after" photo, which displays how these systems work together. The subfloor drains, wrapped around the entire basement, help funnel water to the sump pump. The vapor barrier helps block out moisture and is tucked into the subfloor system to help channel wall leaks down into the drains. The TripleSafe sump pump does the bulk of the work by discharging the water far away from the home. The TripleSafe has three different pumps inside its airtight lid, including one pump that is powered by the battery seen to the right of the pump system. After the job was completed, the homeowners were relieved they don't have to worry about a wet basement any longer.
