This home in Union, KY, was showing clear signs of foundation settlement, including a widening gap between the brick and vinyl siding and a stair-step crack in the brick near the vent. To stabilize the structure and prevent further sinking, we installed a series of foundation piers. Our helical pier system not only stopped the settlement but also allowed us to lift the home back toward its original position. In the before photo, you can see the separation above the vent growing deeper toward the left, along with cracking in the brickwork. In the after photo, both the gap and the crack have been closed, showing how effective our foundation pier installation was in restoring stability to this Union, KY home.

Whenever the owner of this home had to take the sidewalk to reach their walk out basement, they would often lose balance. The sidewalk and stairs had tilted away from the home, leaving them unlevel. They tilted away from the home because the soil on the hillside had washed down and away from the home over time. In order to make the stairs and sidewalk level again, we injected our polyurethane foam under the side that sunk down. Through this process, we were able to level everything out and seal all the gaps. The homeowner can now travel down the stairs safely again.

This porch in Union, KY, was settling into the shrinking soil beneath it. We underpinned the footing of the porch foundation with our helical piers to stabilize and lift the porch back up. Something else important to note was that this porch had an overhang on top of it, which was supported by wooden posts. These posts were attached to the sinking slab, which could have caused the overhang to become damaged. However, the homeowner caught the problem on early, which helped them save their overhanging roof from structural damage. We did have to excavate part of the sidewalk leading up to the home to make room for our piers, but this was clearly communicated to the homeowner upon the inspection, and they didn't mind the sacrifice. After the attached pictures were taken, we covered the piers back up with soil to keep them concealed. The homeowner was happy with the outcome.
This home, located on a street off of Big Bone Road in Union, KY, was experiencing a leaning retaining wall that needed immediate attention. Over time, the wall had shifted outward, creating both a safety concern and potential long-term damage to the landscaping and property.
To restore stability, our team installed four GeoLock wall anchors and four helical tie backs. The GeoLock anchors helped pull the wall back toward its original position, while the helical tie backs provided deep structural support to keep the wall securely in place for the long term.
With the wall straightened and stabilized, the homeowner now has a safer yard and a foundation they can trust. Be sure to scroll through the photos to see the transformation.
