The owner of this home had been living there five years when they gave us a call. They were concerned about humidity issues, as well as having to replace their furnace filter every year. You see, this dirt floor in the basement was throwing dirt and dust around everywhere, and then the furnace would throw the dirt all around the upper levels of the home. The high humidity levels were also making the furnace work twice as hard, as it's way more difficult to heat and cool humid air versus dry air. We got the job done by waterproofing the whole basement with a CleanSpace vapor barrier, drainage matting, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a SuperSump sump pump.
On top of installing a full waterproofing system for this basement in Newport, Kentucky, we also installed our moisture barrier. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is our most economical wall option, but comes with some great benefits. For one, it can channel water leaks coming from the wall into the subfloor drainage system. Secondly, it helps control the musty smells in basements, and will never grow mold thanks to its inorganic nature. Lastly, it is easily installed and looks beautiful!
This foundation was 100 years old, made of stone, and had no sump pump. Concerned with moisture issues, the owner of this home in Fort Thomas, KY, decided to give us a call to learn more about our system. After explaining to them about our interior perimeter waterproofing system, we then told them about our CleanSpace wall system. We like to recommend our CleanSpace vapor barrier system for old stone foundations, (and for other types of foundations) for a of couple reasons; Firstly, this vapor barrier is able to conform to uneven stone surfaces due to its flexible nature. Secondly, CleanSpace fits right into our subfloor drainage system - allowing the walls to channel leaks straight down into the drains we install underneath the floor slab. Last but not least, the walls look great, are super durable, and they are made of a patented formula that won't allow mold growth. This waterproofing system will help conserve this homes beautiful stone foundation for years to come.
The owners of this basement needed a new waterproofing system because their basement had leaked three times in the past seven years. Their plumber said their existing waterproofing system was the problem, and they were right. Fed up with their leaks, The homeowners decided to give us a call so we could fix their problems for good. We replaced their existing system with all new products like our WaterGuard subfloor drains, our TripleSafe sump pump, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. After we waterproofed, we then got to the fun part. We installed our EverLast drywall repair panels so that they could replace the bottom halves of their musty walls. The great thing about our EverLast system is that the panels can get wet and they won't grow mold or must! These walls will also help channel moisture to the drainage system under the floor. Now that the musty smells are gone, these homeowners can get back to hosting watch parties. Who Dey!
We waterproofed this basement in Middletown, OH, and we wanted to highlight our drywall replacement panels as part of the system. When we dug around the perimeter of the basement to install our WaterGuard subfloor drains, we needed to also cut out the lower parts of the drywall to make room for the drains. This drywall was already ruined by moisture, so the homeowners didn't bear any mind, especially since we offered the perfect replacement solution. After installing our waterproofing system, we then installed our EverLast panels to replace the moisture soaked drywall we cut out. These panels are made of vinyl, (inorganic in composition) so they won't ever be ruined by water. They come in different colors and have a nice trim to them. They can also be customized for electrical outlets, as seen here. The homeowner was appreciative that they fit perfectly with our waterproofing system and that they didn't have to deal with yet another contractor for their basement woes.
