In Farmersville, Ohio, this crawl space was experiencing excess moisture, musty odors, and poor insulation—common issues that can affect the entire home. We performed a complete encapsulation, installing drainage matting, CleanSpace® vapor barrier, SilverGlo™ insulation, spray foam on rim joists, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The “before” photos show a damp, neglected space, while the “after” images highlight a clean, dry, and energy-efficient crawl space that helps protect the home from the ground up.
This huge crawl space located in Loveland, OH was cold, dark, and wet. In order to make it warm, dry, and bright we encapsulated it for the homeowner! We started by installing our SilverGlo foam insulation panels all over the walls. We then waterproofed the crawl space by installing perforated pipes in trenches all around the perimeter. The drainage pipes were connected to a SmartSump sump pump, which we installed in the lowest corner of the crawl space. We then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier all over the floor and up the walls of the crawl space in order to isolate the crawl space from the earth. The vapor barrier also brightens the crawl space thanks to its white reflective color. We then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to make sure this ginormous space stays dry 24/7. The result of this project made the homeowners very happy, knowing their homes foundation is protected for the future.
We encapsulated this shallow crawl space in Maineville, OH, in order to keep the home fresh and strong. When we wrapped the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, the homeowners noticed a difference in the smell almost immediately. We also installed SilverGlo insulation panels along the wall in order to keep the floor above warm in the winter. The homeowners were very happy with the outcome.
