A homeowner in Amelia, Ohio called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati regarding problems with a porch that was sinking. We used PolyLevel Injection to resolve this problem for the homeowner.
PolyLevel Foam is used to raise a concrete slab on sidewalks, driveways, and porches. A small hole is drilled into the concrete and the PolyLevel Foam is injected under the concrete to be raised. The PolyLevel Foam fills the voids underneath the concrete slab and raises it up. The hole that was drilled into the concrete is patched and the porch will be ready to walk on in about 15 minutes.
In these before and after photos, you can notice that there is a space between the siding and the porch and on the after photo space has been removed.
A homeowner in Beavercreek, Ohio noticed a crack a poured basement wall that was leaking some water. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Donny, a certified inspector, who recommended that the FlexiSpan Crack Repair is installed.
The FlexiSpan Crack Repair is a permanent solution to a leaking crack in the wall of a poured foundation wall in the basement. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair starts with a bead of sealant to seal the crack. This is the common way to repair a leaking crack. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair goes a little further. After the bead of sealant seals the crack, we apply a FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip. If there is any water that gets through the sealant, it will be wicked down into the drainage system below the repair. The next layer is a flexible, sealant overlay. This seals the complete repair and can flex up to 3/4" if there is further settling of the foundation. This repair also has a layer of BrightWall over it to cover the repair. BrightWall can also be used to cover the walls like typical paneling, but the advantage of this paneling is that it can drain wall leaks down into the drainage system below.
A sidewalk slab was raised in Beavercreek, Ohio. A sidewalk slab that is not level can be a tripping hazard. After the Polylevel Injection was done, the sidewalk looks brand new again.

Polylevel Injection foam is injected underneath the concrete slab. This foam fills the void underneath the slab and will raise the slab. The joints of the slabs are sealed with NexusPro Joint Sealant.
Polylevel Injection was used to level this concrete sidewalk slab. Polylevel Foam is injected through small holes that are drilled into the slab. As the foam expands it will fill in the void underneath the slab and will raise it up to be level with the rest of the sidewalk.
In the before photo, you can see a space between the trim of the stoop and the concrete slab. You can also see where the concrete sidewalk has sunk and pulled away from the step. We used Polylevel Injection to raise the plate. The space between the trim and concrete is now gone, and the sidewalk is level to the step.
A Dayton, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water leaking into the basement through a crack in the wall. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati and met with Donny, a certified inspector, to find a solution to this problem. Donny recommended that the Flexi Span Crack Repair System and a BrightWall Panel is installed to resolve the problem that the homeowner was having in the basement.
FlexiSpan Crack Repair System is our patented crack repair system that is used on cracks that are leaking water into the basement on a poured foundation wall. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair System starts with applying a bead of sealant to the crack to seal the crack. Next, a FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip is applied over the bead of sealant. This will drain any water that leaks through the sealant down into the drainage well that is installed at the bottom of the repair. A Sealant Overlay is installed overlapping the repair on both sides to completely seal the repair. This will permanently ensure that the crack doesn't leak.
A Bright Wall Panel is a plastic panel that is permanently attached to the wall with drilled in fasteners. BrightWall Panels are used to cover the walls and can be installed over the complete wall to give the basement a bright-white, semi-finished look. BrightWall Panels can also drain wall leaks to stop water from permeating into the basement.

Micheal recommended the FlexiSpan Crack Repair System to resolve this problem that the homeowner was having in the basement. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair is a permanent solution for a crack that is seeping water into the basement. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair System starts with a bead of sealant. The sealant will slow down the leak if not completely stop the crack from leaking. Next, a FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip is installed over the bead of sealant. We installed the FlexiSpan Crack Repair System for a homeowner in Vandalia, Ohio. The FlexiSpan Crack Repair System is a permanent solution for a leaking cracked in a poured foundation wall. The FlexiSpan begins with a bead of sealant to slow down, if not completely stop the leaking. Next, a FlexiSpan Foam Drain Strip is placed over the bead of sealant. If there is any water that gets through the sealant, the water will be wicked down into the foam drain strip which is tucked into a drainage system installed below the repair. A Flexible Sealant Overlay is applied over the foam drain strip to seal the complete repair. Also installed was a BrightWall Panel. BrightWall Panels can also be installed to cover basement walls like typical paneling. The difference in the BrightWall Panels is that this paneling is made of a plastic material that will keep water from permeating into the basement and will drain any wall leaks down into the drainage system or waterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.
