This basement in Morrow, Ohio had a poured foundation with minimal protection against water intrusion—just a basic vapor barrier loosely hanging on the walls. Moisture, poor insulation, and a lack of drainage left the space vulnerable to leaks and musty air. We transformed this basement into a dry, usable space by installing our Foamax wall paneling insulation, which provides both moisture protection and thermal efficiency. To handle water intrusion at its source, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump system and a WaterGuard interior drainage system, ensuring any groundwater is collected and redirected before it ever reaches the living space. To keep humidity in check, we added a powerful SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
Now, this basement is clean, dry, warm, and protected—ready to be used year-round without the worry of water or mold.
This musty crawl space in Morrow, OH, needed an encapsulation in order to help preserve and freshen the space. We wrapped the entire space with our 20 mil plastic CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture locked out from the space underneath the home. This homeowner understood that around 50% of the air in their home was coming from the crawl space, which was causing mold and must to emit into the rest of the home. After we encapsulated the space with our antimicrobial vapor barrier, the homeowner noticed an immediate difference in how the rest of their home smelled and felt.
We repaired this crawl space in Goshen, OH, by encapsulating it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also installed our SilverGlo insulation panels along the wall and sprayed our insulation foam on the band joists in order to keep this treated space warm in the winter. Lastly, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep moisture out, keeping the crawl space as dry as can be. Note how much natural light reflects of the CleanSpace!
The crack you can see from the "before" picture from this basement in Goshen, OH, is very common. When a block wall experiences lateral movement, it will first start to crack in a horizontal line right near the frost line is in the outside soil. In the later stages of development, the crack will then expand to both corners of the wall in a stair-like pattern. Although a quite scary crack, we have seen it thousands of times and have repaired it thousands of times with our PowerBrace system. Our PowerBraces are made of steel and are coated in zinc to prevent rusting. They also have specially designed brackets at the top to prevent floor joist damage, and these brackets allow us to potentially straighten out the wall again through annual adjustments. The homeowner was relieved to know that we've seen this crack thousands of times, and that we were able to install a full-proof system.
The step leading up to the front porch on this Bellbrook, OH, home sunk into the ground. The slab had sloped down towards the left side of the home, and had gradually became quite the eye sore. We injected the step and the sidewalk with our PolyLevel foam to lift the slabs back to where they were originally. We then sealed the joints and gaps with our NexusPro sealant. The homeowners were very pleased with the outcome, and noted how quick & easy the repair process was.
