The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati Before & After Photos

This home had a basement that was dirty and wet. We fixed it up to be clean and dry by installing CleanSpace walls, WaterGuard, a french drain, and a TripleSafe water pump. 

The concrete pad just outside of this garage had sunken into the dirt. This had become annoying for the homeowner because every time they pulled their lawn mower out, it would not be a smooth process. It was also a pretty dangerous tripping hazard, as the garage was a place where they moved heavy items in and out of. We fixed the gap by injecting our PolyLevel foam underneath the concrete pad in little pea-sized holes. Afterwards, the concrete pad was flush with the garage floor, making life a whole lot easier for this homeowner.

The crack you can see from the "before" picture from this basement in Goshen, OH, is very common. When a block wall experiences lateral movement, it will first start to crack in a horizontal line right near the frost line is in the outside soil. In the later stages of development, the crack will then expand to both corners of the wall in a stair-like pattern.
