This existing sidewalk along a busy road in Florence, KY didn't really match the newly paved and painted road it was adjacent to. The sidewalk had cracks up and down the street because the soil the sidewalk was resting on was shriveling up. The shriveled up soil created space for part of the sidewalk to fall into, creating cracks that could be considered a tripping hazard for the public. After receiving multiple offers and bids for the job, the City of Florence decided they wanted us to do the job because of our foam jacking method. Our PolyLevel foam is a better alternative to mudjacking because it is way cleaner and faster. After we carefully injected the slabs with our patented foam, we were able to get the sidewalk leveled out, eliminating the tripping hazards. After only a couple of hours, the sidewalk was back upon to the public.
It may be hard to tell from the photo, but the carpet in this basement in Florence, KY, was absolutely soaked. We waterproofed this basement to make sure any new carpet that gets replaced stays as dry as a bone. Seen in the after picture is our TripleSafe sump pump connected to our subfloor WaterGuard drains. When we cut the drywall out, we made sure to do so carefully so the homeowner has an easy time replacing it. Our TripleSafe sump pump hosts a battery backup system to make sure this finished basement stays dry, even in the event of a power outage. The TripleSafe has an air-tight lid that is flush with the floor, so it doesn't take up much space and won't leak moisture into the basement.
This homeowner in Walton, KY, was having trouble with their current waterproofing system. When replacing their system, we made sure to give their sump pump an upgrade as well. Seen in the after picture is our TripleSafe sump pump, our most secure system. It comes with three different pumps, including a battery backed one that will provide power to the system in case of power failure. The air-tight lid comes with a nifty alarm system and an airtight floor drain.
The owner of this basement in Walton, KY, dealt with an unfortunate situation: their basement flooded. The owner told us how they scrambled during the flood to tear out their carpet, cut out their drywall, move all their valuables off of the floor, and place buckets and shop vacs near all the pools of water. This flood event seemingly occured out of nowhere, but upon closer inspection, this basement was a ticking time bomb. There were cracks underneath all the windows, evidence of moisture intrusion near the coves, and their outdated sump pump, (connected to their existing, clogged, exterior footer drains) was running on its last leg. We ended up installing our WaterGuard interior subfloor drains in the coves, right where the walls meet the floor from inside the basement. We then installed our WellDuct drains underneath all the leaky windows in the basement, including the window shown in this photo set. Our Wellduct drains will channel all water that the outside window wells may catch down into the subfloor drainage system. To finish the project, we replaced their outdated sump pump with a brand new TripleSafe sump pump to ensure water can't enter their basement any longer. The homeowner was excited to put their basement back together the way it was before the flood.
This crawl space in Greenville, OH, was relying on blue insulation foam boards to keep the space warm in the winter. These boards were not effective, as the homeowner noted to us that the floors in their family room above their crawl space were very cold in the winter. On top of that, the homeowner noted that their family room often smelled musty in the summer, when moisture peaks in the space. We ended up encapsulating the crawl space using our SilverGlo insulation panels along the walls, our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor, our foam rim joist insulation, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Our SilverGlo panels have a higher rated insulation value than the foam boards due to their reflective radiant barrier, which helps reflect heat back into the space. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome, and they look forward to saving money on energy costs throughout all seasons of the year.
