This driveway in Hamilton, OH was uneven because the soil sitting underneath the concrete was shifting. The uneven driveway had multiple gaps and cracks in it, creating multiple safety hazards. We were able to lift and seal the driveway with our foam jacking methods, resulting in a driveway without tripping hazards. Our foam jacking system requires us to drill multiple pea sized holes in the concrete, then we inject foam through them. We then seal all the gaps and holes in the concrete with our sealer, resulting in a for sure way to make your concrete last longer.
The buyer and seller of this home in Independence, KY, decided to split the cost of this waterproofing project. Our Real Estate Inspector, Donny, was able to help guide this transaction and project for a seamless operation. We installed a full interior perimeter waterproofing system for the basement consisting of our WaterGuard subfloor drains and our SuperSump sump pump. The basement was leaking at the coves of the poured foundation, so our WaterGuard subfloor drains will do a great job at intercepting built up water around the coves of the basement. Now that the basement is protected, the new homeowner can transform their basement however which way they please.
This homeowner in Lewisburg, OH, wanted their sump pump replaced, as it was not performing to the expectations of the homeowner. It's open pit was allowing moisture to seep back into the basement, and it was constantly running. We replaced their inefficient sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump system. Our TripleSafe comes with a battery backup system, seen to the right of the pump in the after photo. The TripleSafe also has three pumps, two discharge lines, a moisture proof lid, and an alarm system. The TripleSafe will do a much better job at keeping water away from this home, all while being way more energy efficient.
We recently had a project on an older home out in Covington, Kentucky. The basement was constantly flooding anytime it rained. The owners were tired of having to vacuum the water out each time it rained, so they decided to take care of it once and for all. It was a very prototypical waterproof job for us that required WaterGuard, a Super Sump Plus, an Ultra Sump 4, and a SaniDry Sedona. We also installed a trench drain, a guard around the water heater, and a CleanSpace wall. We used two sumps for this job considering how much rain this basement receives and how susceptible it is to leaking. After installation, the owners had no problem with rain and they can now focus on other better things to do with their time instead of constantly cleaning water out of their basement.
The cracks in these concrete slabs could allow for further weather intrusion, causing the concrete cracks to get worse. We filled the cracks with Nexus Pro crack sealant, which is UV-resistant and won't crack or bubble.
