This garage lintel in Cincinnati, OH, was drooping before we lifted and stabilized it with a lintel repair. A garage lintel, (the top of the garage opening) can start to droop downwards over time, causing the lintel to look like a slight grin. We lifted the lintel by installing steel beams along the inside of both walls in the opening of the garage face. We then run a steel beam across both jacks to distribute the load. After jacking the lintel back to a healthy even level, we then cover the steel beams with a fresh trim. This trim completely conceals the steel beams.
