Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

We installed a CleanSpace encapsulation system in Xenia, Ohio. The crawl space had some pink fiberglass insulation that had fallen down, and there was no vapor barrier installed. A vapor barrier is important to keep moisture from entering the crawl space. Moisture in a crawl space can cause mold, musty odors, and wood rot.  

We installed our CleanSpace system in this Aberdeen, OH, home to create a vapor barrier in this homeowner’s crawl space. This shallow crawl space in New Vienna, OH, needed some protection against moisture and settling concrete columns. We first repaired the sagging columns by jacking the main beams with our SmartJack crawl space posts and straightening the joists out. We then fixed the musty smells by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier, wrapping it over the entire floor and up the walls and columns. This home now smells clean and has straight floors, which the homeowners were very appreciative of. 

This home had a crawl space with poured concrete walls that were leaking water. It turned into one of our larger projects as we installed WaterGuard drainage, CleanSpace liner, a SuperSump system, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. To finish, we treated the area with Anabec cleaner and added spray foam insulation to address mold and improve energy efficiency. Now the crawl space is dry, clean, and protected for the long haul.

This crawl space was in need of a vapor barrier, combined with a new waterproofing system. We installed CleanSpace matting and drainage, as well as a Ultra Sump 4. SilverGlo insulation was installed as well, which well help this customer save money on energy bills.
