Waterproofing System Install in Fort Thomas, KY
This photo was taken during the install process. Up to this point, we had excavated around the perimeter of the basement, fitted our subfloor drains into the trenches, graded the drains with a gravel backfill, installed the sump pump, and wrapped the walls with our vapor barrier. After this photo was taken, we finished the project by concealing the drainage system with a fresh concrete float over the top of them.
Vapor Barrier in Fort Thomas, KY
This photo was taken after we concealed the drainage system with new concrete. The white vapor barrier was tucked into the subfloor drains to help channel moisture that enters from the walls down into the subfloor drainage system.

Waterproofing System in Fort Thomas, KY
We ran a feed line from this section of the basement down towards the sump pump across the middle of the basement. This is why there is wet concrete running from the base of the wall. This feed line will help ensure the drains are graded properly down towards the sump pump. We sometimes require the use of feed lines when the sump pump isn't in the most desirable position. Most often times due to a tricky discharge spot.
Sump Pump in Fort Thomas, KY
Our TripleSafe sump pump was installed in this corner - closest to the desired discharge spot in the yard outside. Our TripleSafe sump pump has three different pumps inside its big liner, and one of the pumps is backed by our battery backup system. We recommend a battery backup system for all sump pumps in case of power outage.
