This basement in Florence, KY, was once just a place for the homeowners to store inconsequential items or "junk" as they called it, but after we waterproofed the basement, the homeowners now have much bigger plans to finish the space. The homeowners didn't feel finishing the basement without a new waterproofing system would go well, as the space often leaked through the coves after heavy rain. First Sump Pump in Florence, KY

This was the first sump pump we installed for this large basement. We recommended two sump pumps for this space as the foundation received lots of water and was large in nature.

We installed a trench drain across the door threshold in the floor, which connects to the rest of our interior drainage system. Our sump pump has an airtight floor drain, an alarm system, and a zoeller pump inside of its liner.

We installed our WaterGuard subfloor drains in the coves of the basement. We also placed the second sump pump system in this opposite corner of the basement.

Underneath the floor, we drilled weeping holes through the foundation before fitting the floor with our WaterGuard drains. These weeping holes will invite water into the system so hydrostatic pressure can't build up outside the home in the soil surrounding the foundation.
