Sump Pump
Our SuperSump sump pump system will push water far and away from the home. It is connected to our subfloor drains that we wrapped around the perimeter of the basement.
Dehumdifier
We also tied our SaniDry Sedona into the sump pit. Our SaniDry Sedona is able to drain up to 99 liters of water out of the air in a day, and it is completely automatic.
French Drains
Our subfloor drains were installed just beneath the floor of the basement, and just above the footing of the home. We argue this space is the most optimal location for a drainage system, as it stays completely clear of mud. Anyways, you can't see the drainage system once we cover it with concrete except for the wall flange, which rises slightly up the walls.
Waterproofing System
We tucked our wall panels into the wall flanges. These BrightWall panels will help drain any moisture that transfers through the concrete walls down into the subfloor system. These panels are made of an inorganic material, so moisture can not harm them.
Wall Panels
These rigid panels were buttoned to the bare concrete wall behind them. They are super clean, durable, and washable.
