One of the pumps is backed by a battery backup system to help provide power in emergencies. Our WaterGuard subfloor drains were installed underneath the floor around the perimeter of the basement. The vapor barrier was tucked into the WaterGuard wall flange as well. We concealed the drainage system by floating a fresh concrete layer over the top of it.
