A nasty crawlspace formed by dirt, moisture, and bugs can lead to poor living conditions for the inhabitants living above the crawlspace. In order to encapsulate and reduce the risk of the crawlspace flooding we installed a lot. First we installed a vapor barrier by placing CleanSpace and drainage matting over the walls and floors. We then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a SmartPump sump pump on one side of the large crawlspace, and a UltraSump 4 sump pump on the other side. We topped it off with SilverGlo insulation panels, which will help save big money on energy bills.
This customer was interested in insulation and mold control. After we waterproofed the basement, we began to insulate by spraying foam on the band boards and installing Foamax insulation wall panels. The wall panels will help guide water to the system and they will never grow mold due to their inorganic nature.
This home had a bowing wall and water leaking issues. These two problems are commonly seen paired together and so we used the common two solutions. First, we installed WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump to deal with the water issues. We then installed PowerBraces on the bowed wall to ensure that the wall does not move horizontally anymore. We also installed discharge lines with LawnScape outlets and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier as great compliments to the waterproof system.
This homeowner was tired of two things with their old sump pump.
1. It wasn't moisture sealed.
2. It wasn't strong enough.
These two problems resulted in musty odors in their home.
We replaced their old sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump not only has a moisture sealed lid, it is also super powerful. Packed with a main pump, a secondary pump, and a battery backed pump, the TripleSafe is safe against power outages and massive water intakes.
Our technicians raised and stabilized the concrete around this Kentucky pool and sealed the cracks with NexusPro sealant.
