This photo shows the main beam the homeowner was concerned about. We ended up sistering the rotted main beam with new wood to ensure we can stabilize the floor joists above. We then installed our SmartJack posts underneath the new beam to help out the thin existing columns.

Our SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel, and they can be adjusted to help level out the floor joists above. They require us to dig a 3-4 foot hole for their base. We then fill that hole with limestone so they won't settle.
Sump Pump in Greenville, OH
This photo shows a close up of our sump pump system. The sump pump is hooked up to perforated drainage tile around in the floor around the entire perimeter of the crawl space. Attached to the left of the sump pump is a battery backup system in case the power goes out in the home.

We installed a dehumidifier to keep the sealed space dry and conditioned. If you look at the walls in this photo, you can see we also lined the walls with our SilverGlo insulation panels, which allowed us to remove all the moldy fiberglass in the ceiling.
