Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Wet Basement Repair Company in Franklin, Ohio
This homeowner in Franklin, OH, gave us a call because their crawl space had a musty smell. We suggested that we encapsulate their crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and a dehumidifier, and that we waterproof their crawl space with a SmartSump sump pump. This crawl space was untraditional, as it sat right next to their basement and was likely a result of the home builders not being able to dig deep enough for a full basement when first building the home. As a result, the crawl space was closed off and had no access point, leaving the homeowners in the dark as to the condition it was in. Our Inspector had to cut open a tiny hole in the floorboards in order to show the homeowners what the space underneath their home even looked like. Upon looking at the pictures, the homeowner agreed it needed encapsulating. If you want to learn more about this job, be sure to scroll through the photos!

Unfinished Crawl Space
You can see where the builders of the home ran into bedrock when trying to build the foundation. When they ran into bedrock, they scrapped the idea of a full basement.
