This foundation in Covington, KY, had been through the ringer. The walls were moving laterally, and they were also leaking. We started with stabilizing the bowing walls by installing a system of our CarbonArmor reinforcement straps and our steel PowerBrace I-beams. After stabilizing the foundation walls, we then began to waterproof the space. We installed our WaterGuard subfloor drains and pitched them down to our TripleSafe sump pump to provide protection against water intrusion. This also helped relieve the foundation walls of hydrostatic pressure.
