In this Lebanon, Ohio home, our team completed a full basement waterproofing and insulation project to create a dry, energy-efficient, and comfortable space all year round. We installed a WaterGuard® interior drainage system to capture groundwater leaks and direct them safely to the newly installed TripleSafe® sump pump system, offering triple the protection against basement flooding.
To further control moisture and air quality, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, designed to keep the basement air dry and clean while efficiently removing excess humidity.
We also insulated the basement walls with Foamax® insulation panels. These high-performance panels not only help retain heat during the winter months but also direct any wall seepage down to the drainage system and reduce the risk of summer condensation—keeping the space dry, insulated, and mold-resistant.

Foamax Panels

Water Heater Drainage
We installed our flood ring around the water heater, so if it leaks, the leaks will be captured into the drainage system.
WaterGuard Drains
Our drains sit beneath the floor around the perimeter of the basement. The Foamax panels are tucked behind the WaterGuard wall flange so wall leaks can channel down the vapor barrier backing of the Foamax and into the subfloor drainage.
Sump Pump and Dehumidifier Systems
Our TripleSafe is our most secure sump system, with three different pumps including a battery backed one. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was invented to be the world's most efficient dehumidifier for basements and crawl spaces.
Basement Insulation
The panels are taped at all the seams and buttoned into the bare concrete walls, preventing drafts.
