Damaged Drywall Replacement in Cincinnati, OH
This was what the drywall looked like before we started our installation process. You can see the basement floor had stains, and the drywall was concealing moisture behind the lower part of the walls.
Subfloor Drains
We started the project by cutting out the damaged drywall and parts of the studs. We then jackhammered the floor to make room for our WaterGuard drains. We then installed our WaterGuard drains just above the footing of the home, and then pitched them down towards the sump pit with a gravel backfill. Lastly, we applied our preventative moisture transference tape over the drains to prevent moisture from transferring into the concrete we poured back over the drains to conceal them.

Waterproofing System
This photo shows our SuperSump, our freshly concealed drains, and a crack cover we installed behind the studs to help channel wall leaks from a wall crack down into the subfloor system.
Washable Basement Walls
This is what the final transformation looked like. After the concrete cured and the homeowner got new flooring installed, we then installed our EverLast panels to replace the cut out drywall. Our EverLast Wall panels can be washed with water and soap if they ever get dirty, and they will never be damaged from moisture, making them the perfect basement drywall replacement strategy.
Wall Outlets
EverLast can also be fitted with wall outlets and other obstacles.
