This home in Cincinnati, OH was over one hundred years old, and the foundation was made of stone. This stone was super well built, but it was allowing moisture to transfer through the floor joint. We ended up waterproofing this basement in the Westwood neighborhood to give the homeowners an added boost in home value, and more importantly a comfier living situation. Stone Basement Waterproofing in Cincinnati, OH

The moisture issues were mainly entering from where the floor and wall connect, all around the basement as well.

New Waterproofing System in Cincinnati, OH

We tucked our WaterGuard drains below the floor - all around the perimeter of the basement. These drains sit on top of the footing of the home, out of the mudzone.

Sump Pump System in Cincinnati, OH

We tucked our SuperSump system in the corner of the basement next to the sink. This sump pump was equipped with a battery backup system as well.

Vapor Barrier System in Cincinnati, OH

We also covered the walls with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This vapor barrier tucks into the drainage system. On the floor on the right side of this picture is where one of our service ports was located.
