Foundation Excavation in Fairborn, OH
The part that takes the most effort and time for our piering projects is the preparation process. This part requires us to excavate around the structure, expose the footing from underneath, and lots of digging. The two cavities seen in this photo is where we planned to drill two of our piers down.
Piers in Fairborn, OH
We are able to tell when our piers hit load-bearing strata by reading pressure gauges on our drivehead. Our drivehead is the device we use to drill the piers down. After drilling them down, we then latch the piers up underneath the home by using our "L" shaped brackets. The 90 degree angle on the bracket ensures we have a secure connection up underneath the foundation.
Before Lifting
We set out to close the gap in this wall by using our hydraulic device.
Foundation Repair in Fairborn, OH
As you can see, we effectively closed the gap by lifting the foundation back up towards the brick siding.
Foundation Settlement in Fairborn, OH
This photo shows the hoses we latched onto the pier brackets in order to lift them. After the job was completed, we then backfilled the trenches around the foundation with soil to conceal the piering system.
