Bowing Wall in Cincinnati, OH
The crack in the brick in this photo was evidence that the wall was shifting inwards towards the basement floor. This photo was taken upon the initial inspection before we started any work. As you can see, the block wall was only 4 blocks high, so we couldn't use our vertical beam system. Instead, we had to go horizontal with our tieback system.
Wall Repair in Cincinnati, OH
This photo was taken after we drilled the rods through the wall into the soil outside the home. We also jackhammered part of the floor around the perimeter of the basement to make room for our WaterGuard subfloor drains. By screwing the helical rods horizontally into the soil surrounding the home, we were able to pull the wall back by utilizing the counteractive force of the soil.
