Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Oxford, Ohio

This home in Oxford, OH, (just minutes away from Miami University) was leaking water in the basement. The homeowner's contractor was the one to give us a call, as they had been referred to us before. We installed our interior perimeter waterproofing system in the basement to ensure the contractor can refinish the basement without ever having to worry about water damage again. Wet Basement in Oxford, OH

The carpet in the basement got ruined from a flood. Moisture became trapped behind the drywall system that the contractor had removed as well.

Vapor Barrier in Oxford, OH

This photo was taken from the same angle as the last photo in this album. At this point, we had completed installing the new waterproofing system. Part of the installation process was wrapping this wall with our vapor barrier. This vapor barrier will help the contractor reinstall drywall in the basement without the worry of moisture. The vapor barrier tucks into the subfloor drainage system, allowing moisture to funnel down the backside of the vapor barrier.

Waterproofing Drains in Oxford, OH

Our patented WaterGuard subfloor drains were installed around the coves of the basement, right underneath the floor. These drains sit on top of the footing of the home to make sure they still clear of mud. Other companies may want to install their waterproofing drains from outside the home, or even below the footing of the home from the inside. Both of these locations are not ideal, as they are prone to clogging from dirt.

Sump Pump System in Oxford, OH

We installed our TripleSafe sump pump in this corner of the basement. For this section of the basement, we covered the walls with our BrightWall product. BrightWall is made of antimicrobial material, so they won't ever hold moisture. To the right of the photo is our SaniDry Sedona, which will help keep this basement air dry and clean as possible.
