2019 Winner of The BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati Celebrated at Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics
CINCINNATI (October 21, 2019) — The Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics is Greater Cincinnati’s only ethics-centered awards program. For 19 years, local businesses and nonprofits have demonstrated their dedication to ethics by going through a process of self-evaluation and submitting to feedback from a panel of judges.
This year there were five Torch Award winners: Ace Exterminating, Basement Doctor, Camp Joy, Deviant Designs and Impact 100. They were honored at the Torch Awards event on October 18, 2019, at Sharonville Convention Center.
“It was a privilege to name The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati a 2019 Torch Award winner,” said Corrie McGlothlin, vice president of BBB Center for Ethics. “The Torch Awards sets exceptional organizations apart because we believe celebrating the best in our community makes our community better. The team at Basement Doctor demonstrates that every day with the passion they bring to their work, their customers and their community.”
The Center congratulates The Basement Doctor on this accomplishment and is grateful for all those that applied to the program and attended the event. “We’re proud to live and work in a region that values ethics,” said Corrie.
The Basement Doctor team was thrilled to be recognized for its ethical practices and wants to thank those that helped throughout the Torch Awards process. “We feel it’s an honor to be a part of the BBB, and the highest honor is to be able to win the Torch Award,” said Bobby Miles, owner of The Basement Doctor.
