We replaced this basement window in Monroe, OH, with an egress window. Now that the egress window is installed, the homeowners can finally begin to build a bedroom for their teenager in the basement. Egress windows allow for emergency exits from a basement, and are required by code to count as a bedroom on listings. Our beautiful RockWell window well has a natural feel and allows tons of natural light into the basement. They also have built-in steps and a cover to keep debris out.

In Monroe, OH, this homeowner’s front sidewalk had settled unevenly over time, creating a tripping hazard on the walkway leading up to the porch. Using PolyLevel®, we carefully lifted the sunken sidewalk slabs back into place, eliminating the uneven steps. To finish the job, we sealed the joints and cracks with NexusPro®, helping to prevent future damage and keeping water from washing out the soil underneath. Be sure to scroll through the photos to see how we restored this front entryway!

This crawl space project is pretty unique because the floor of the crawl space was concrete, (also known as a rat slab). Concrete is a porous material and allows moisture to seep through, and this foundation was leaking heavily. We jackhammered a sump pit into the floor, installed our sump pump into the pit, installed our dimpled drainage matting, installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier over the matting, and then wrapped up by installing our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this crawl space is safe from flooding and moisture damage.

A homeowner in Monroe, OH, near the high school, reached out after discovering one of their foundation walls was beginning to settle. Cracks had started forming, and the movement raised concerns about the long-term stability of the home.
Our crew installed helical piers along the failing wall to provide permanent stabilization. Each pier was driven deep into stable soil and attached to the footing, transferring the weight of the wall to ground that will not shift with moisture changes or seasonal conditions.
With the piers in place, the wall is now secure, and the homeowner can feel confident their foundation is protected against further settlement.
