This homeowner in Franklin, Ohio, was dealing with a bowing foundation wall and water intrusion in the basement — a combination that only gets worse over time if left untreated.
To stabilize the foundation, we installed PowerBraces, a steel I-beam system designed to straighten walls over time without any invasive exterior digging. Along the perimeter, we laid in our WaterGuard® drainage system, which captures groundwater before it reaches the basement floor and channels it to a sump pump.
We paired the system with our TripleSafe® sump pump (not pictured), which includes three layers of protection — a primary pump, a secondary pump for high-volume situations, and a battery backup to keep things running during power outages. Finally, we finished the walls with BriteWall® paneling, a clean, moisture-resistant covering that not only brightens the space but also directs any wall seepage into the WaterGuard system below.

The floor joists in the ceiling of this crawl space were sagging due to moisture damage and insufficient lally column support. This was causing the floors above the crawl space to sag in certain spots. We installed a couple rows of our SmartJack posts to straighten out and support the floors above. We then encapsulated the crawl space with our white antimicrobial vapor barrier, our graphite insulation panels (along the walls), and our automated dehumidifier (not pictured). This encapsulation system will protect the wood from further moisture damage, keeping the framing as healthy as possible. Our SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel, so they won't rust like the existing lally columns were. They are also way stronger than the lally columns, and won't sink into the floor, thanks to their engineered "light bulb of influence" design. This customer was stoked that they could now walk on the first floor of their home without feeling like the floors could cave in at any moment.

This crawl space in Franklin, OH, had succumbed to prolonged moisture exposure. This had caused the fiberglass to become moldy and heavy, must smells to persist throughout the rest of the home, and rust to appear on parts of their plumbing and ducts. We encapsulated this crawl space with our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out ground moisture and outside air for good. This 20 mil thick vapor barrier is composed of antimicrobial material, and it is super durable and elastic. Now that the crawl space is clean and safe, the homeowners are free to store items down there as an added bonus!

Using PolyLEVEL, an expansive polyurethane foam we lift and level sunken concrete slabs. The foam expands beneath the surface of the concrete lifting the sunken concrete slab. The foam cures over the course of a day leaving a powerful and lightweight foundation beneath the slab. PolyLEVEL is the preferred method over traditional forma of mudjacking or slab jacking.
We waterproofed this basement in Franklin, OH, to keep the space dry, boosting the overall comfortability of the home dramatically. We installed our interior perimeter system with our WaterGuard french drains. These interior drains are much less invasive to install when compared to other options like exterior footing drains. All we had to do was excavate the floor - about six inches from all the exterior walls in the basement to install our drainage system. Not only is our WaterGuard minimally invasive, it also stays clear of clogging by staying out of mud. This is because our WaterGuard rests on top of the footing from the inside of the home, so the drains rest on top of concrete instead of dirt. The other products we used for this system were our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and our TripleSafe sump pump. After the system was installed, the homeowner no longer has to worry about water damaging their basement or their mind.
A homeowner in Franklin, OH, living on a street just off the Dixie Highway, reached out after noticing one of their foundation walls was beginning to sink. The movement was causing cracks and raising concerns about long-term structural stability.
To permanently stabilize the wall, our crew installed helical piers beneath the failing section of the foundation. Each pier was advanced deep into load-bearing soil and secured to the footing, effectively transferring the weight of the wall away from unstable ground.
With the piers in place, the home is now properly supported, and the sinking wall has been stabilized to prevent further settlement. The homeowner can rest assured their foundation is secure for years to come.
