This bowed wall in Wilmington, OH was a serious concern for the homeowners. The visible gap in the middle of the wall aligned with the frost line outside, where soil pressure is typically strongest. To correct the issue, we installed our PowerBrace system, which stabilizes the wall without damaging floor joists and resists rust for long-term protection. For this project, we excavated along the outside of the foundation to relieve soil pressure, allowing us to tighten the braces and close the gap immediately. The result is a stabilized foundation and peace of mind for the homeowners knowing their wall is secure and supported for years to come.

This homeowner had stained walls and floors from water intrusions in their basement. They called us to fix the problem, so we drew up a solution. We planned for a full perimeter WaterGuard drain system, hooked up to a SuperSump Plus sump pump. We also installed BrightWall panels to help cover up those stains.

One side of this basement was leaking water any time it rained, so this homeowner called us for help. We told them we could waterproof just the one problematic side for now, and if they needed more work done in the future, we could come back out and extend the system. Often times, we find that if you only waterproof one side of the basement, the water will work its way around and eventually begin to build up outside the wall of where there is no waterproofing system. This is because water pressure builds up around the foundation evenly, and a partial system does not relieve this pressure, meaning cracks and leaks can still form in untreated sections. This homeowner does not care if the basement leaks on the untreated sides because their basement isn't finished, and they know they could have us back out in a jiffy to complete the system once/if that day comes.

This home had a unique setup with both a basement and a connected crawl space, and moisture was affecting both areas. Our team encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace to create a bright, sealed barrier against humidity and ground moisture. From there, we turned our attention to the basement, installing a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system along the footing to capture and direct any water intrusion. To complete the system, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump to provide reliable protection even during heavy rain or power outages. Together, these solutions keep both the crawl space and basement dry year-round, protecting the home’s structure and air quality.
We received a call from a homeowner in Wilmington, Ohio who explained that their concrete driveway was cracking. Our inspectors went out to examine the property and learned that pressure from surrounding concrete slabs expanding in the heat had caused the slabs to buckle, crack, and become uneven. The production crew raised the slabs back to level with PolyLevel, sealed the cracks with NexusPro joint sealant, and topped the concrete with a coating of SealantPro. This will not only stabilize the slabs and raise property value, but it will also protect the concrete from future damage.
A Wilmington Ohio homeowner was having problems with moisture in the crawl space and also noticed some cracks in the walls, creaking floors, and doors that were difficult to close in the living space of the home. We installed SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System, a SmartDrain Crawl Space Drainage System, and SmartJacks Floor Supports to help with the problems that the homeowner was having in the crawl space.
Also recommended for this crawl space would be the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. CleanSpace is a 20-mil-thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner that provides a vapor-proof barrier between the ground and the home. The CleanSpace Liner is attached to the floor and walls of the crawl space. This helps to control the moisture and also makes it easier to access the crawl space when needed.
The SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage system is a pump system specially made for crawl spaces. The SmartSump will pump water out of the crawl space. It also has a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if there is plumbing leaking into the crawl space. The water will fill a special pocket on the lid and sound the alarm alerting the homeowner that there is a problem in the crawl space. This alarm will also sound if there is a power outage to alert the homeowner. If there is a plumbing leak, the water will flow into the Airtight Floor Drain on the lid but will not be able to come back int the crawl space.
The SmartPipe is a perimeter drainage system for the crawl space. It is a perimeter piping system with holes throughout it to allow water that is seeping into the crawl space to drain into the SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System. The SmartPipe is covered with a special filter fabric that will keep debris from entering the pipe. The water that is collected by the SmartPipe is drained into the SmartSump to be pumped out of the crawl space.
The SmartJacks Floor support is used to support the floors and can also be used to jack up a floor that is not level due to the settling of the home. The SmartJack is set into a structural stone and then attached to the floor joist with a bracket with an adjustable screw that is used to jack up the floor.
Now the homeowner will no longer have to worry about doors not being able to close, creaking floors, and getting more cracks in the walls. The homeowner may consider adding the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to the home at a later date to complete the crawl space project.
