A homeowner approached us with a pressing concern: several areas around his property displayed unsightly and hazardous sunken concrete slabs. We had a homeowner who was in need of new windows for their basement. This particular home was run by solar energy, with solar panels on the roof of their home. Our team had gotten a call about a cracked concrete slab that was used as a sidewalk for a home's garden. It turns out that bamboo from the garden was spreading like wildfire and the roots of the bamboo were growing from under the sidewalk. The bamboo was so strong that we were worried that the slab may have to be replaced entirely. Luckily for us, we have a team member who has seen the damage bamboo can do up close, as they also had bamboo problems. After we were able to successfully eliminate the bamboo, we then provided our concrete lifting and sealing services. The sidewalk was saved that day.
