Using PolyLEVEL, an expansive polyurethane foam we lift and level sunken concrete slabs. The foam expands beneath the surface of the concrete lifting the sunken concrete slab. The foam cures over the course of a day leaving a powerful and lightweight foundation beneath the slab. PolyLEVEL is the preferred method over traditional forma of mudjacking or slab jacking.
A homeowner off Dakin Chapel Road in Sabina, OH contacted us about sagging floors and moisture in their crawl space. To fix the issues, we combined structural supports with a full waterproofing system.
We installed six SmartJacks, each set into a 2x2x2 foot base of compacted stone. This wide base, known as the zone of influence, spreads the weight so the jacks can permanently stabilize the floors above.
The crawl space was then encapsulated with CleanSpace, a durable liner that seals out moisture. We also placed perforated drains around the perimeter to channel groundwater to a SuperSump Plus, complete with an UltraSump battery backup to keep it running during outages. To finish, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air dry and prevent mold.
With structural stability restored and moisture under control, the crawl space is now dry, healthy, and protected for the long term.
