We waterproofed this basement in Lebanon, OH, to save the homeowners from a leaky foundation. By wrapping the basement with our interioru subfloor WaterGuard drains and installing a TripleSafe sump pump, we were able to guarantee that this basement won't ever leak again. We sealed this crawl space underneath a home in Lebanon, OH. We wrapped the entire space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which is made of antimicrobial material. We often compare our CleanSpace to a heavy pool liner, as it is 20 mils thick and very durable. We taped the vapor barrier at all the seams to ensure the space is completely sealed tight. Lastly, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air in the space dry and conditioned. The homeowner was very happy with their newly transformed space beneath their home, as they can now store items in there without worry of moisture damage.
This Lebanon, OH home had a damp, musty crawl space that was contributing to poor air quality and energy loss. Our team designed a complete encapsulation and waterproofing system to protect the home for the long term. We installed 156 feet of perforated drain pipe around the perimeter, tied into a SmartSump with an UltraSump battery backup for reliable protection during heavy rains and power outages. To improve energy efficiency, we added 468 square feet of SilverGlo insulation and sealed the rim joists with spray foam. Drainage matting was laid across the entire floor, followed by 1,377 square feet of CleanSpace liner to fully encapsulate and separate the crawl space from outside moisture. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to keep humidity under control, and we finished the project with a Turtl access door for secure, easy entry. Now this crawl space is dry, clean, and energy efficient—bringing lasting protection to the entire home.
