A Georgetown, Ohio homeowner had concerns about moisture in the crawl space and was interested in encapsulation.  He met with Steve, a Certified Inspector, who recommended CleanSpace Encapsulation System, along with SilverGlo Crawl Space Insulation, and Rim Tight Rim Joist Insulation, and a SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System is installed to resolve this problem for the homeowner.

In these pictures you can see the before and after of this crawl space.  Before the crawl space had little to no protection from moisture seeping into the crawl space.  Now with CleanSpace Encapsulation System the crawl space has a vapor and mold proof liner and the SmartSump will drain any water that seeps under the CleanSpace liner out of the crawl space.

We used Polylevel Injection on this sidewalk.  In the before photo, you can see that there was a crack in the slab that was sticking up a little.  In the after photo, you can see that the slab is now level and there is no tripping hazard.

This customer was having issues of one side of their basement being susceptible to leaking and flooding. Multiple cracks had appeared on one side of the basement due to the houses physical location and its relation to water. The side house also had a window that was leaking water. Since the house was only leaking from one side, we installed our waterproofing system on one side of the basement to save the customer resources. The window received a Well Duct to flow the water into the Water Guard, the floor received our Water Guard and Super Pump Plus, and the walls received our Clean Space Wall to keep the walls dry and looking good.

A Georgetown, Ohio homeowner was noticing a wall in the basement that was bowing so they called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for a solution to this problem.  We installed the PowerBrace System to resolve this problem for the homeowner.  The PowerBrace is a steel I-beam that is secured tightly against a failing wall.  The PowerBrace is used to immediately stabilize the wall and protect it from further movement.  The PowerBrace has an adjustable bracket that can be tightened over time to potentially straighten the wall and reverse the wall failure.

Water enters basement between floor and wall. It appears only to be on the front wall and only when it rains extensively for many hours. We built home 23 years ago.

We have a crawl space that appears very clean but we have a musty smell. It is not lined in plastic and there may be some mold on the floor joists. The crawl space may be about 15-20' wide in some places. We also are running a dehumidifier in the basement and pulling about a half of tank of water a day on low setting. My brick ranch home contains approx. 2500 SF with a concrete block unfinished basement under about 2/3 of the home. Recently the basement has moisture with some water coming through one wall in particular. I've had mold & radon gas testing done & high levels of both were found. Before I can take care of those two problems, I must address the moisture. I've had three of my downspout drains checked & no blockage was found, but I've temporarily relocated two of them on top of the ground & after two hard rains there has been no water in that area of the basement. I do not intend to use the basement for living space, but want a safe & healthy correction to my basement.
