This home in Fairfield was having issues with cracking walls and uneven floors. These are classic signs of a structurally compromised crawl space. Luckily, our team was able to install a solution that should provide the crawl space with structure and stability.

Solution

We installed a supplemental beam along the top of this crawl space. We then supported the beam with 3 SmartJacks. The SmartJack is a high-capacity adjustable steel pier designed to stop settling and even potentially raise your floor back up to where it was. This system can help resolve sagging floors, cracked drywall, sticking windows, and inoperable doors. This should provide the homeowners with even, stable floors.
