Concrete Lifting and Leveling Case Studies: Maineville Patio Stabilized with PolyLevel

Challenge

This stunning concrete multi-level patio in Maineville, Ohio was starting to become uneven in places over time. With a patio as lovely as this one, it's difficult to find a solution that can be applied in some areas without disrupting others or creating an ugly after effect. However, our team knew just the product to meet their needs.

Solution

PolyLevel is a high-strength polyurethane foam that can be injected beneath concrete fixtures through small holes. Once injected, the PolyLevel expands as it dries, lifting the fixture. This particular job took over 85 pounds of PolyLevel total to lift all the sagging areas of the patio.

Our technicians also sealed some concrete joints on the front porch with NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant that is both weatherproof and UV resistant. This sealant will help protect the concrete joints from water infiltration - preserving their positioning.

This outdoor area has many concrete fixtures, most of which are experiencing a level of sinking and unevenness.

You can see that the third stair up is separating from the second stair, creating an uneven gap.

This set of stairs has an uneven middle stair, which is creating a gap.

After PolyLevel injections, this walkway and stoop are brought back to level.

The part of the patio surrounding this stair was raised to become level with the stair.

You can see the patched pea-sized hole in this concrete slab where PolyLevel was injected beneath the fixture.

These stairs were sealed with NexusPro to prevent water infiltration between the joints in the concrete.
